As former CEO of Anheuser-Busch and Ambev, Luiz Edmond is a distinguished businessman whose hard work over 27 years allowed him to develop from a Management Trainee to a top global executive. After successfully leading the integration of Anheuser-Busch and InBev, creating billions in value, he became ABI’s Chief Sales Officer before leaving the company to focus on his own investments and business opportunities. Luiz has vast experience in the C-suite and is an expert in numerous fields including but not limited to: Sales & Distribution, M&A Integration, Strategy & Planning, and Managing for Results & Leadership.
He has worked in various regions / locations around the world, where he led several key transformational projects for the company. Today, Luiz serves on the Board of Alpargatas, a leading footwear company in Brazil, which owns popular brands including Havaianas. He is also a Trustee at MICDS, one of the top JK-12 private schools in the United States.
Luiz holds a degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and has attended numerous Executive education sessions at top American universities including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, and Kellogg.
